A quickly built device that will drive a brushless motor in a repeatable manner. This will be used to run a series of tests to better understand how different scenarios impact performance.

In this video it's running at 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100% throttle for two seconds each, before shutting off. I'll change it to run 30 seconds at each of those throttles while measuring current draw, voltage sag, and output RPM under different conditions. This will be much better then using a timer and a normal transmitter while trying to get repeatable results.
