On one of my rare trips to Bass Pro Shops I found they had a giant Blue catfish in their small aquarium. This catfish was introduced sometime after @TopKnoxFishing had done his live stream in front of this same tank. As most of us know Blue catfish do not fair well in trophy pay ponds and it is the same in aquariums. I had spoken to a biologist at the Chattanooga Aquarium and they had trouble keeping them alive. Their aquariums are 1000x bigger than the Bass Pro Shops one. With the massive filtration system of these aquariums I would assume the catfish would live longer than in a trophy pay lake. That is the reason trophy pay lakes kill thousands of pounds of catfish weekly. Hopefully the care takers of this aquarium, Ripley's Aquarium, will release this fish back into the wild before its to late.
