Changing the oil on a Yamaha Outboard is a little different that a Mercury.

In this video I do an oil change of my Yamaha 80 hp Jet Outboard. The layout of the Yamaha is a little different than the layout on the Mercury 65 hp Jet I owned previously. Instead of having the drain on the side with a place for a hose they have it on the back where the oil has a chance to go all over the lower unit! Outside of that the oil is easier than most cars and trucks to change.
