Here is the precision anchoring video I spoke up previously! This is using the high tech equipment on my boat.

How to precisely anchor over an underwater object:

1. Find underwater object on fish finder and mark it. I do this using my big motor.
2. Put trolling motor down and uses its "spot lock" function. If you are using a real anchor then you have to use your big motor to situate yourself near the target.
3. Move around until the object is directly behind you and is about 60 to 70 feet away. On my Hummingbird I put the cursor over the target to show me how far away I am. The closer to the target the better. If using an anchor you need to be 120 feet or more away. Then let your anchor grab and slowly let line out until you are 60 to 70 feet away.
4. Cast your lines out. Make easy casts that are around 20 yards or less (not 30 years as I stated in video!). The key here is to keep the bait in front of the object to lure the fish out.
5. Relax and catch some fish!

Don't forget to đź‘Ťthe video and share it with friends! Thank you for watching!
